The first activity that most of the student leaders had a chance to go to was the Me to We day at GM Place. We saw a lot of famous people like the Dalai Lama, Jane Goodal and Mia Farrow! Here is a link of the We Day website:
During that day, we also found out about organizations that make the world a better place. Many sponsors such as Club Penguin were there to talk to us. They talked about how we could help less fortunate children around the world. Jane Goodal also talked about helping animals and the environment. Michel Chikwanine, a former child soldier, told us about his personal story. He helped us realize the things that really need to be changed in the world.
