Our Night At The Kiwassa House

It was a long drive there but it was worth it! We warmed the hearts of many people in need. Upon arival we were brought to a small kitchen and there we prepared dessert while the chefs finished making the main course.

Then we set the tables and greeted many people as they arrived. Once everyone was seated we served the main course; turkey with a side of potatoes and cranberry sauce. We cattered their needs offering seconds, and thirds to all.

We cleared and cleaned the tables and started serving dessert. Every person was offered a nanaimo bar or a triple cake, which were truly quite delicious.

From your generous turkey dollar donations we bought 9 turkeys. Three of them as well as a blueberry pie were used as raffle prizes and the rest was either cooked or stored for later use. Thanks to all of your donations we were able to present a check of 282.00$ to the Kiwassa House.

We drove home with the feeling of pride and accomplishment. Giving warms the hearts of everyone. We made a difference and that's what student leadership is all about!
